Founded in 2023, Hattie's Toyland was born out of an idea to honor our stillborn daughter, Hattie, and to fill a need for a kids' store in our family-oriented community. I saw a missing opportunity and wanted to make something special come to life for those with littles. Our community rallied around us during some hard times, and we are excited to share this part of our story with them. The goal was to create a space where imaginations have no limits, and dreams are a reality.
As a mom of four—Preslee (12), Nolan (9), Vivi (7), and Lydia (1)— My goal was to create a space where, no matter the age or gender, kids would be able to see themselves in this space. My husband Taylor and I have been married for 14 years, and after years of combined experience in retail, ministry leadership, and business ventures, we were ready to take the leap in 2023 to create a legacy for our family and honor our daughter. When we are not in the store, you can find us near water, at Disney, at concerts, or making memories with friends and family. These are some of our favorite things. Thank you for your time.
